Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager – AI Governance and IT Services Management

Location: Oakville, ON (Hybrid, 3 days on-site)

Contract Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: Up to $100.00/hour (inclusive)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

 

About the Role:

CorGTA is excited to offer a new opportunity to support one of our Higher Education clients in a contract role. We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead the development of strategic IT roadmaps, focusing on AI governance and IT services. This role will involve managing complex projects within a hybrid working structure, with a mix of on-site and remote work.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Project Management: Lead IT projects within the public services or post-secondary education sectors, ensuring smooth delivery aligned with strategic goals.
  • Strategic IT Roadmap Development:
    Deliver key projects that involve creating a strategic IT roadmap and implementing IT strategies across the organization.
  • Data Governance & AI Governance:
    Apply previous experience with data governance to manage the implementation of AI Ethics, Governance, and Adoption Frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Facilitate communication with various business stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 10 years of IT project management experience.
    • Proven experience working with post-secondary education or public services organizations on IT projects.
    • Experience in delivering projects related to strategic IT roadmaps and IT strategy.
  • AI Governance Expertise:
    Previous experience with data governance projects that can be transferred to AI governance, ethics, and adoption frameworks.
  • Certifications:
    PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
  • On-Site Requirements:
    Ability to work 3 days a week on-site in Oakville, ON.
